On November 25, 2023, the 2023 China-Tanzania Vocational Standards Revision and Development academic Exchange Seminar and vocational Education Exhibition hosted by Tanzania National Vocational Education Committee, Tanzania Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, the African Department of the "Belt and Road" Vocational Education Alliance, and CIIC International Education Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. was held in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Representatives from more than 30 vocational colleges from China and Tanzania attended the meeting. Xue Anshun, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of our college, and Wang Zhanfeng, dean of the School of Highway and Railway Engineering, attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Xue Anshun made a theme report on "Experience of vocational and technical education and training in China's vocational colleges", and introduced to the participants the situation of our school and international exchanges and cooperation. At the same time, it shows a series of explorations and practices carried out by our college in response to the new requirements of the development of higher vocational education and in the development of educational projects at home and abroad. Xue Anshun said that our school will further implement the urgent requirements of opening up education in the new era and better serve the needs of national, regional and industrial development and the construction of the "Belt and Road".
After the meeting, our school conducted one-to-one exchanges with Tanzanian vocational colleges on cooperation in education, culture, academia and other fields, and signed memorandums of cooperation with three schools, including Dar es Salaam Bhandari College, and exchanged gifts. The participants visited Tanzania National Jiaotong University and China Civil Engineering East Africa Co., LTD.
On this trip to Tanzania, has promoted China-Africa vocational education cooperation and exchanges. It is also a milestone of our college's deep participation in the construction of the "Belt and Road". Our school will take this opportunity to build an international school-running brand, train more international technical talents, promote China-Africa exchanges, and improve the internationalization level of our school.
