On May 22, 2024, 12 senior technical officials of Uzbekistan National Planning and Design Institute, including KOSIMOV S.N, Chief advisor to the president of Uzbekistan National Planning and Design Institute, RUZMETOV M.S, senior engineer, IDIEV J.J., Chief engineer, Zhang Wei, Dean of the School of International Education, Chang 'an University, Director of the Secretariat Office of the China-Central Asia Five countries in the field of communication infrastructure personnel training Alliance, and Yang Wangtun, executive deputy director of the secretariat office of the China-Central Asia Five countries in the field of communication infrastructure personnel training Alliance, visited our school. Yang Yunfeng, Secretary of the Party Committee of our college, attended the symposium. Liu Jing, Vice President of our school, presided over the symposium.

At the meeting, Yang Yunfeng extended a warm welcome to the foreign guests of the Central Asian delegation, and briefly introduced the school's history, student size, professional characteristics and international exchange development, as well as the school's achievements in promoting the high-quality development of the "Belt and Road" as a member of the China-Central Asia five countries in the field of transportation infrastructure personnel training alliance. Yang Yunfeng said that under the overall planning of the Uzbek National Planning and Design Institute and the China-Central Asia Five countries in the field of transportation infrastructure personnel training Alliance, the college is looking forward to strengthening exchanges with Uzbek transportation institutions of higher learning, in the exchange of students, higher education cooperation, language teaching, teacher exchange and other aspects of cooperation. Further enhance the quality of personnel training and international influence of both sides.

KOSIMOV S.N said Uzbekistan has always attached great importance to the construction and development of transportation infrastructure. We hope that through this meeting, we can deepen our friendship and partnership and lay a foundation for future exchanges and cooperation. We also look forward to carrying out more extensive and in-depth cooperation, jointly promoting the training of professionals in the field of construction and transportation infrastructure construction between China and the five Central Asian countries, and jointly promoting the prosperity and development of transportation in Uzbekistan and China.

Zhang Wei thanked the school for the warm reception of the visitors and also affirmed the fruitful results achieved in the construction of Tongyuan campus of the school. He introduced the background of the establishment of the China-Central Asia five countries in the field of transportation infrastructure personnel training alliance and the future project planning, and expressed the vision of further cooperation between the university and the Central Asian countries in the field of skills training in the future.

It is understood that the "China-Central Asia five countries in the field of transportation infrastructure personnel training alliance" initiated by Chang 'an University, is a non-governmental, non-profit, open, international education cooperation alliance between China and Central Asia five countries in the field of transportation universities and engineering enterprises. The alliance aims to further serve the country's Belt and Road Initiative, contribute to the comprehensive rejuvenation of the Silk Road, and promote the common development and prosperity of all countries. Our school has been elected as the standing director unit of the alliance in November 2023.
